Home service companies are where I started. Before Idaho AI Consulting I was COO of Boise Valley Heating & Air, which grew 1,548.5% during my tenure. The pattern is the same across trades: the field-service software is already paid for, and most of it has never been switched on.

You already have the tools. You just haven't had time to build them out. I do it for you.

The common thread

Whether you fix furnaces, replace roofs or mow lawns, the office does the same jobs: answer the phone, book the visit, send the quote, follow up, dispatch the crew, invoice and ask for a review. Each step involves a handoff, and every handoff is a place where information gets retyped or forgotten.

ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber and their cousins can automate most of those handoffs. In practice, many contractors use them mainly for scheduling and invoicing. An industry study of about 1,000 HVACR contractors by ACCA and Farmington found exactly that pattern.

What the work looks like day to day

Seasonal businesses feel the office squeeze hardest. Roofers get flooded after a hailstorm, lawn crews start every spring with a stack of renewals, and HVAC shops swing from shoulder season to heat waves within a week. The office staff size stays the same while call volume doubles, so the work that gets dropped is follow-up: unsent quotes, unconfirmed appointments and reviews never requested.

Automation earns its place by absorbing those peaks. A renewal sequence that runs every February, a storm-intake form that sorts leads by address and damage type, a quote reminder that goes out on day two and day seven: none of these need a new hire, and all of them keep working during the busy weeks when nobody has time to think about process.

What a first project looks like

One workflow, scoped in writing with capped hours. Common starting points are missed-call text-back, quote follow-up, maintenance or service-plan renewals and job notes that flow straight to the invoice.

The work happens in your accounts and is tested with your office before it goes live. If it doesn't earn its keep, we stop.

Rules that apply to every trade

Text messages and AI voice tools fall under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act: customers need to opt in and be able to opt out. I build every customer-facing automation with consent, templates a person approves once, and review of anything drafted case by case.

How we'd work together

We can meet in person in the Treasure Valley or over video, whichever suits you. Remote projects for Idaho businesses work just as well.

Time back, not revenue promises. The systems I build are designed to save your team real hours on the work we automate. I don't guarantee specific revenue or lead numbers.

No compliance guarantees. I don't provide legal, tax, regulatory, licensing or data-privacy advice or certification.

Results come from willingness to innovate. The businesses that win are the ones ready to adopt new tools and change how work gets done.

FAQ

Home services questions

My trade isn't listed. Can you still help?

Probably. Garage doors, appliance repair, painting, flooring and similar trades run on the same office workflows. Ask on a 15-minute call.

Do I need ServiceTitan?

No. I work with whatever you run, including Jobber, Housecall Pro or a phone, calendar and QuickBooks.

Do you sell an answering service?

No. I build out the phone and CRM tools you already pay for so fewer calls are missed.
